Your Opportunity as a Projects & Continuous Improvement Analyst (E&S)

As the Projects & Continuous Improvement Analyst you will work closely with a variety of teams including Equipment and Service (E&S), the Away from Home (AFH) SBA (Smucker Business Area), and Service Partners with the goal of assisting in ensuring projects are completed on time with success.

Location: 1 Strawberry Ln, Orrville, OH 44667 (J.M. Smucker Corporate Office)

Work Arrangements: Hybrid, onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires

In this Role You Will:

• Support cross-functional initiatives/projects across E&S and the AFH SBA in the United States and Canada

• Partner and collaborate on a regular basis with E&S, Sales, Marketing, R&D and Service Partners

• Support Projects & Continuous Improvement Lead with larger projects

• Lead and implement smaller projects as assigned

• Assist Project Management Lead with initiating the Stage Gate Process for Equipment

• Support projects with a continuous improvement/Lean mindset

• Support new product development and innovation

• Assist with ensuring projects are tracking on time and meeting key milestones for implementation success

• Assist with creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures for E&S and projects as needed

• Look for efficiencies to streamline processes across the AFH organization

• Continually support transformation initiatives

• Assist with the Annual Business Process assessment

• Additional Tasks as needed

What We are Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant work experience

• 2 years of Project Management experience

• Experience with reviewing data and reporting

• Continuous improvement mindset

• Self-motivated, organized and has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse priorities

• Problem resolution skills and attention to detail

• Ability to pivot from one project to another as the need arises

• Proficient oral and written communication skills

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)

• Ability to perform well in a team environment

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

• Knowledge of our systems (AWS, Salesforce, Glovia)

• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience

• Food Service Industry experience
