Hebron, OH

PSC Group is now hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide on-site support to our in-plant supervision group and serve as the main point of contact for both PSC employees and customer contacts. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for all clerical duties to include managing time, pay and billing of employees and communicating operational information from the field to the customer. This role will require the ability to multi-task and provide back-up assistance when needed to order supplies and PPE, as well as complete and maintain site specific documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to multi-task in a manufacturing plant clerical environment.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Starting Pay Rate: Starting at $22.00 with opportunities for advancement

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Tracks attendance and maintains personnel training files.
  • Ensures and maintains employee confidence by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains vacation, overtime, and attendance schedules for filing.
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, overtime, turnover, etc.
  • Provides information to PSC employees and customer contacts by answering questions and requests.
  • Submits monthly and quarterly updates to Customer and PSC Staff.
  • Provides administrative support and back-up assistance to order unit supplies and PPE as needed.
  • Prepares and assists onboarding of new hires including documentation and training binders.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and all duties as assigned.
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.


Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of employees and external customers
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); experience with Access is a plus.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks using strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Keen sense of discretion and judgment, professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Minimum Job Qualifications:



  • Experience in an admin support role
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
