Job Summary

The Vice President, Commercial Marketing & Launch Excellence is responsible for leading Masimo's global commercial marketing strategy and ensuring the successful launch and adoption of new products and solutions. This role drives integrated brand and go-to-market strategies, oversees launch readiness across functions, and ensures alignment between commercial teams, product management, and marketing communications. The VP plays a key leadership role in strengthening Masimo's global brand presence, optimizing market access, and building excellence in launch execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership



  • Define and drive the global commercial marketing strategy to support company growth objectives.
  • Lead development of integrated go-to-market plans that align with business priorities.
  • Ensure consistency in global brand positioning, messaging, and customer engagement.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall corporate strategy.


Launch Excellence



  • Establish best practices and frameworks for global product launches, ensuring readiness across marketing, sales, operations, and clinical advocacy.
  • Oversee development of launch toolkits, training programs, and success metrics to drive adoption and market penetration.
  • Measure and optimize launch effectiveness, implementing continuous improvement processes.


Market Development & Customer Insights



  • Guide market analysis and voice-of-customer insights to inform brand and launch strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities across geographies, channels, and customer segments.
  • Develop strategies to reduce barriers to adoption and drive long-term market development.


Commercial & Channel Enablement



  • Partner with regional commercial leaders to ensure strong alignment and execution of global initiatives.
  • Drive commercial readiness through sales enablement tools, channel programs, and training.
  • Ensure brand and product messaging are effectively communicated through all customer-facing teams and partners.


Team Leadership & Development



  • Build and lead a high-performing global commercial marketing and launch excellence team.
  • Mentor and develop marketing talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively to maximize ROI.


Qualifications

Minimum:



  • 15+ years of progressive experience in commercial or product marketing, with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading successful global product launches in healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences.
  • Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, and execution skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in market analysis, go-to-market strategy, and lifecycle management.


Preferred:



  • Experience in regulated healthcare markets and working with HCPs, payors, and global distribution channels.
  • Background in digital marketing, omnichannel strategy, and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading global teams.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.


Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $208,000 - $260,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 30% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
