Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis-OD is a key member of the finance team. With primary responsibility for ensuring financial information is properly planned, budgeted/forecasted, reported and analyzed in a timely and accurate manner, by themselves and their direct reports and to allow for more efficient business decision-making by Senior Management.

Supervision Exercised:

  • Yes, which includes but is not limited to providing leadership, work direction, and performance feedback to subordinate staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the process for developing the annual operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly leadership variance analysis & reporting. This process involves communication and coordination with all entities as well as leaders of corporate support functions. Interact with senior system-level and entity management in the development of targets, assumptions, and strategic issues to be incorporated into the annual budget and planning process.
  • Responsible for development, oversight, and delivery of multiple components of the financial plan and updates to financial forecasts, including:
  • Manage the monthly Budget vs Actual reporting using CCA's Financial Systems and other tools such as SQL, SAS, etc.
  • Oversight/Prepare presentations for Senior Management, and understand the drivers of resulting Income Statements by Lines of Business and administrative expenses,
  • Responsible for the management of all financial planning, maintaining data integrity and creating value-added ad hoc analysis.
  • Create financial models, as directed, and perform appropriate analyses of any short or long-term business strategies, ensuring completion of various key business analysis projects that have concrete financial benefits to the organization.
  • Support the development and evaluation of CCA's corporate priorities.
  • Provide FP&A support for functional areas, and/or lines of business, as defined
  • Maintain and optimize the budgeting and reporting tools for the company
  • This position is responsible for managing subordinates. The position has full responsibility for managing staff performance, including, but not limited to, setting performance expectations, and holding staff accountable to those expectations, providing timely and meaningful feedback, and modeling respectful and collaborative behavior.

Required Education (must have):

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Desired Education (nice to have):

  • Masters in Business Administration or Healthcare preferred.

Required Licensing (must have):

Desired Licensing (nice to have):

MA Health Enrollment (required if licensed in Massachusetts):

  • No, this is not required for the job.

Required Experience (must have):

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the area of financial analysis.

Desired Experience (nice to have):

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, highly desired.
  • Experience with Prophix preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (must have):

  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; along with ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of MS tools, including MS Office products, SQL, SAS
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal clients, and a successful track record of collaboration toward achieving objectives expected.

Required Language (must have):

  • English fluency

  • Advanced Excel preferred.
