Job Summary:
The Sr. Human Resources Generalist is responsible for executing the HR strategy and business processes for the Springfield location with responsibility for recruitment and workforce management, employee relations, talent management, employee engagement, and communications. They also have a strategic role in aligning the people strategy with business objectives and legal compliance.
Responsibilities:

Executes HR strategy, processes, programs and policies aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment/performance management, employee engagement and communications.

Collaborate with talent acquisition and hiring manager in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees; provides tools/resources to new employees on culture, company, benefits and other business teams.

Gathers, analyzes, and interprets HR related data for report generation and management decision making; links HR action plans with business needs.

Uses SuccessFactors system to maintain up to date employee data, complete various HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, compensation, performance management and talent review activities.

Partners with EHS, Safety, Facilities teams, where needed, to ensure compliance, on-time submissions and training needs are met and communicated.

Works with HR leadership and managers in matters of termination of employees; addresses employee relations issues, such as allegations, complaints, or other concerns brought up from employees.

Provides leadership, guidance and support in creating an employee engagement strategy that facilitates organizational performance and enables successful organizational change.

Provides guidance and support to various managers in executing disciplinary action, and performance improvement processes as well as addressing employee issues, concerns and complaints

Administers employee benefit programs and supports employee enrollment, the wellness program and the annual enrollment process and provides education to managers and employees on our various benefit offerings

Responsible for weekly and biweekly payroll and timecard administration

Conduct HR training and plant communication as required, including annual compliance training such as, harassment training, code of conduct, and other related topics as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years HR experience
Preferred:
- Knowledge of and experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.
- SAP Success Factors experience preferred
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability with strong relationship building skills
- Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently to prioritize and pivot to meet the changing needs of the organization and collaborate effectively within HR and business teams.
- Expertise in employee relations
- Microsoft Office proficiency
