GENERAL PLANT MANAGER (SQK QUALITY MEATS, INC.) ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT The successful applicant must possess a minimum of five years' experience in meat processing, including the holding, slaughter, cutting, wrapping, and processing of animals. Prior experience with the facility and people, with a minimum of 5 years in a management or supervisory position, preferably in animal harvest, fabrication, and processing. Current driver's license. Experience and understanding of traceability/management software systems, fluency in English (verbal and written). Must have completed a course of instruction in the application of the seven HACCP principles of meat product processing, including a segment on the development of a HACCP plan for a specific product and on record review. Proven experience in people development and management, strategic planning, and risk management. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must be able to utilize office equipment, desktop/notebook computers, copiers, printers, scanners, telephones, and calculators. Must be in good health and able to work in a food-safe environment. Prior meat processing experience required.
