Moffatt & Nichol is seeking a full-time, Data Analytics Resource Manager to provide support in completing projects and tasks related to data and geospatial analytics. The primary focus of this role will be supporting the Data Analytics Lead in the delivery of client focused data and geospatial analytics for transportation projects across several of Moffatt & Nichol's business areas along with providing resource management data analytics team projects. This role will be focused on overseeing projects, tasks, and workloads of the data analytics team. This position will be primarily remote-based, with occasional office and client travel required. Moffatt & Nichol's transportation and Data Analytics team supports a broad range of engineering and planning projects throughout the country and data staff have the opportunity to work and gain experience in many different practice areas, according to business needs.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced data and geospatial analysis across transportation projects using various data sources, static and near real time, in the development of key performance metrics
  • Conduct geospatial (GIS) support and dashboard development for the display and delivery of performance measures, including evaluating Section 508 accessibility compliance.
  • Conduct and support client focused data program support, including data governance, training, and process automation
  • Meet and work with the data analytics team on a regular basis to track workload, project status, and determine team resource needs to maintain budget, schedule, and delivery
  • Meet with clients in the delivery of data analytic projects and tasks to establish clear communication and project alignment
  • Promotes the success of the team through individual initiative, cooperation to achieve common goals and accommodation to change
  • Oversee project and task development, including managing junior level professionals
  • Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher or equivalent experience; required
  • 6+ years of related experience in transportation engineering related projects; required
  • Ability to analyze transportation data sources and identify performance metrics in speed performance, travel patterns, and other key metric areas; required
  • Experience in developing user focused dashboards and applications to display transportation focused data and metrics; required
  • Experience utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) software to conduct analysis and develop maps and dashboards; required
  • Understanding of the 508/WCAG compliance for websites and dashboards
  • Experience working in various database software programs including Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated experience in serving as liaison between client and technical team
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Availability and willingness to travel
