Cross Dock Specialist

As a Cross Dock Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving, cross-docking, and shipping of product in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Safely and efficiently utilize the warehouse material handling equipment.
  
  
• Accurately and consistently uses DTI warehouse management systems to update information.
  
• Cross-docks freight in a timely and efficient manner as defined by due out schedules.
  
• Update spreadsheets and data information systems as required.
  
• Perform refrigeration checks and takes appropriate action where required.
• 
  Work to eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relative work experience
• Must meet minimum requirements on pre-employment testing, including physical ability tests.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Good planning and organizational skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficient in both verbal and written communication

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Schedule: Night Shift: Tuesday- Friday 6P-4:30P
• Indoor outdoor work with hot and humid or cold temperature extremes
  
  
• Occasionally attend on off-days to participate in workgroups or TQM team meetings
• Extensive standing and walking while operating assigned pieces of equipment
