Compensation At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $35.50. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. Join Our Team as a Job Analyst! The Job Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating and analyzing various job positions within client organizations. Expertise is applied to identify the intricacies of different roles, define their responsibilities, establish effective job descriptions and specifications, and align the job with S&C's Career Frameworks for hourly and non-hourly jobs. Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience as a Job Evaluation, HR Specialist, or similar role
- Conduct comprehensive job evaluation through interviews, surveys, and research to identify and document job requirements, responsibilities, qualifications, and performance indicators
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather information about specific roles and ensure accurate representation of job duties, skills, knowledge, and expectations
- Analyze and interpret collected data to create detailed and well-structured job descriptions, ensuring clarity and alignment with industry standards
- Support the development of competency frameworks, skill matrices, and performance benchmarks for various job positions
- Assist in the creation of career paths and progression plans by mapping out job roles, responsibilities, and potential growth opportunities
- Collaborate with Talent Enablement to ensure the Career Framework competencies are aligned with job evaluations
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with others
- Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules
- Other responsibilities as assigned
What you'll Need To Succeed:
- Understanding of job evaluation methodologies, competency modeling, and HR best practices
- Proficiency in conducting thorough research through interviews, surveys, and data analysis to understand the intricacies of various job positions
- Ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data related to job roles, tasks, and responsibilities to create accurate and comprehensive job descriptions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information in clear and concise job descriptions and reports
- Proficiency in using HR software and tools for data collection, analysis, and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- A keen eye for detail to ensure that job descriptions are precise, comprehensive, and aligned with organizational needs
- Capability to collaborate with clients, HR teams, managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate representation of job roles
- Ability to manage multiple job analysis projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Awareness of labor laws, regulations, and equal employment opportunity guidelines that impact job evaluation and description processes
Preferred:
- Certification in HR-related disciplines (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD)
- Bilingual in Spanish
