Production Manager
Operations Team This is a 3-month contract with potential to extend, full-time (approx. 40 hours/week), hybrid role located in Beverly Hills, CA (3 days on-site). Summary
This role manages product planning and production across an array of formats, strategies, and deal types for a variety of clients. The Production Manager will ensure high-quality execution from project start to end, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet deadlines, maintain standards, and support successful releases. Our Ideal Candidate
1-2 years of experience in music industry operations, production, or supply chain management
Passion for the music industry with a strong foundation in project management, metadata, and release processes
Proficient in digital music service interfaces, supply chain systems, and project management tools (e.g., Monday, Slack, Airtable)
Familiar with catalog management, metadata standards, and release scheduling
Skilled in collaborating with clients, internal teams, and cross-functional departments
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills
Job Description
In this role, you will:
Receive, review, and submit metadata and assets through digital supply chain systems
Master style guides and ensure compliance with delivery requirements
Anticipate operational issues and work with teams to mitigate risks
Communicate project status and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Manage timelines, physical production, and delivery to manufacturing vendors
Support ongoing system development, process improvements, and catalog migration
Provide backup coverage and contribute to special projects as needed
You'll partner with clients, production teams, supply chain, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will also manage ongoing production schedules, metadata accuracy, and interdepartmental coordination, supporting the team's overall success. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
Background in music operations, production, or supply chain management
Experience with label copy, metadata management, or digital release processes preferred

Pay rate: $27 - $30.21 per hour
