Role Summary:
Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, the Services Project Manager is a key member of the IRIS Professional Services team. The person in this role will work directly with our IRIS sales and engineering personnel to develop proposals, coordinate projects, schedule resources, and close out project completion activities. The Services Project Manager will use leadership skills to set the tone for the project, articulate a vision, and engage project participants into that vision.
Exciting work you will do:
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Services Project Manager will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create project proposals in support of IRIS Team associates
- Oversee projects from proposal to completion
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders, sales managers, and sales team members through various channels
- Resolve conflicts that hinder project completion
- Adjust schedules and targets on the project needs or financing for the project change
- Provide overall visibility and reporting of timelines, progress and budgets
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you'll need:
- Work Experience: 3 years' previous experience managing processes or projects with multiple vendors, timelines, resources, and budgets; knowledge of the general software and hardware engineering services from IRIS that will be offered, and experience in proposal development is also required; industrial manufacturing knowledge required and experience in the application of the services offered in those applications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in business, engineering project management or related field
- Analytics/Computer Skills: Proficiency using MS Office, Eclipse, and proposal development tools
- Organization Skills: Strong leadership skills, highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work under pressure managing multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment
- Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; collaborate with a team across multiple disciplines, with the ability to generate continuous improvement and new ways to solve internal/external challenges

- Work Experience: 5+ years' previous experience managing processes or projects with multiple vendors, internal resources, timelines, and budgets; previous experience in proposal development; familiarity with wholesale distribution industry
- Analytics/Computer Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel formulas and workbooks
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM), College Level Coursework in Project Management
