n Position Title: Asset Manager - Equipment Finance Business Unit: BCSI Reports to: Bank Capital President Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for all facets of collateral evaluation and collateral sales, as well as ongoing portfolio management as it relates to the leased assets in the Equipment Finance and Leasing (EF&L) portfolio. The collateral evaluations and subsequent sales and liquidations of off-lease assets is integral to the overall profitability goals of the corporation. Primary Responsibilities: Conducts market research on the resale values of similar assets for comparison purposes which are used to establish the equipment residual values needed to price new business quotes. Is responsible for the ongoing management of the expiring leases including asset evaluation, customer interaction to negotiate end of lease buyouts/renewals and remarketing of returned assets. Evaluates the equipment in the portfolio and being proactive as it relates to the portfolio's risk profile and maintaining a consistent monitoring to assure concentration risks are identified to senior management. Reports to senior management on the characteristics of the equipment portfolio including reporting on equipment concentrations, projected terminations (both expected and early payoffs), projected gains on sale of assets and any identified issues relevant to the equipment portfolio. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. Knowledge of business finance and the ability to read and evaluate financial statements.
