Job Description

Do you wake up every morning to find out about the latest fintech news (whether it be a new round of funding, an acquisition, or a crazy partnership)? Do you live and breathe fintech? Have a strong opinion about the Genius act, 1033, and what is next for financial services? Are you excited about sifting through the ideas, companies, and individuals that are shaping the future of our industry? Do you know the North American fintech landscape like the back of your hand? Then this is the job for you.

You have a combination of expertise within financial services, whether it be at a traditional player, a fintech, a regulator, or somewhere in between, relationships that span across the industry and across the continent, and the professionalism to get the brightest minds in the space to share the most interesting details on our stages.

We are looking for someone who challenges conventional norms, is open to new ideas and flexible in their thinking, a true team player with a clear vision for how the future of financial services is likely to play out and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Role overview

As the Head of Content for Money20/20 USA, you will take the reins of our content strategy and execution, setting the vision and driving the delivery of world-class programming for our flagship show taking place in Las Vegas in October. This role is about much more than managing a team; you will be the face and voice of our content, cultivating relationships with senior executives across financial services and technology to secure groundbreaking keynotes and compelling speakers. Your leadership will inspire fresh narratives, featuring influential figures and disruptive ideas that shape the future of the industry.

With an executive presence that commands respect, you'll engage directly with our top customers, building partnerships that elevate the Money20/20 brand and ensure we remain the pinnacle event in the US. You'll collaborate with marketing and social media teams, translating our extraordinary content into impactful messaging that excites our global community and drives ticket sales.

You'll maintain a pulse on industry trends, leveraging your deep expertise and network to identify the individuals and companies at the forefront of innovation. Your strategic insight and vision will ensure Money20/20 USA continues to deliver unmatched experiences, leaving our audience in awe and solidifying our reputation for best-in-class content (and an NPS to prove it).

In return, you'll join the largest independent platform for fintech across the globe, creating real change by advancing debates, tackling critical issues, and shaping the opportunities that define the future of financial services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Secure high-profile speakers-CEOs, founders, and industry trailblazers who rarely speak publicly-leveraging your expertise, relationships, and persistence to bring the most compelling voices to Money20/20 USA's stage.

  • Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with senior leaders both within and outside the financial services industry, establishing Money20/20 as the premier platform for thought leadership and innovation.

  • Represent Money20/20 USA's content strategy externally through speaking engagements and industry participation, further solidifying the show's position as the foremost fintech platform in the US.

  • Deliver a cutting-edge content program that sets a new standard for creativity and innovation, leaving the industry in awe with sessions and experiences they cannot find elsewhere.

  • Oversee the management, categorization, evaluation, and prioritization of thousands of speaking submissions from the call for content process and inbound requests, ensuring only the most relevant and impactful voices are featured.

  • Lead in-depth research to identify emerging trends and industry disruptors, ensuring session topics remain ahead of the curve and exclusive to Money20/20.

  • Shape major content pillars and session topics, partnering with the VP, Fintech Strategy and Content Managers to ensure alignment and consistency across the show's programming.

  • Act as a trusted liaison for key clients interested in showcasing thought leadership, ensuring their ideas are seamlessly integrated with Money20/20's editorial vision.

  • Drive collaboration across teams and stakeholders to deliver a world-class show, maintaining accountability to deadlines and upholding the highest standards for execution.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the USA Content Managers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring they deliver market-leading content that continually raises the bar.
