MS&A SaaS Tool Cyber Operations Lead

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how to secure it. As a cloud security architect, you know how to assess and implement requirements that ensure the safety of information systems and protect them against intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. What if you could use your advanced cloud security skills to lead cyber operations in support of software modernization initiatives and AI/ML implementations for a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) SaaS tool for our U.S. Air Force customer. We need you to guide the development of cloud-based security architectures for this novel and transformative solution to receive and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).

As a cloud security architect on our team, you'll oversee and coordinate cybersecurity strategies, network operations, and compliance efforts to protect and enhance a government-furnished Software Factory's digital assets and infrastructure. You'll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to address the risk management framework (RMF). Your technical expertise will ensure a robust defense posture against evolving cyber threats while aligning with organizational security objectives and mission requirements for the Cloud-based end solution.

This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to secure the customer's environment. You'll continue to strengthen your skills in ATOs, AI/ML implementations, cloud-based security, RMF, STIGS, and eMASS while mentoring tomorrow's cloud security experts.

Help us transform and secure the U.S. Air Force's future MS&A capabilities with secure cloud technology.

Join us. The world can't wait.

  • Experience leading cross-functional cyber teams in complex, mission-critical environments, and facilitating ongoing authorization processes, enabling continuous monitoring, and reducing reliance on traditional, time-intensive authorization procedures
  • Knowledge of network defense, incident response, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices for cyber operations within federal environments
  • Ability to serve as the primary liaison between cyber operations teams, development teams, leadership, and mission partners to ensure alignment of security posture with operational priorities
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation of security controls, compliance status, and operational activities
