RN - Pre Procedure Phase II PRN Evenings We're a Little Different Our mission is clear. We bring to life a healing ministry through our compassionate care and exceptional service. Overview: The Ambulatory Surgery Unit, or ASU, is located on the ground floor of the main hospital adjacent to the Operating Room (OR) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). It consists of a 28- bed surgery prep unit and a 32-bed outpatient unit for pre and postoperative care for pediatric patients and adult postoperative care. All patient rooms are private. In the post procedure area, there is a shared restroom between two patient rooms. Three patient rooms have a private restroom. Each patient room is equipped with oxygen/air, medical gas outlets, wall suction, phone, and a networked computer. Continuous cardiac and pulse oximetry monitoring is available in the surgery prep unit of the rooms with central monitoring at the east and west nurses' station. The bedside monitors are also capable of supporting non-invasive blood pressure monitoring. Remove - redundant . Other equipment that is utilized in both areas includes volume infusion pumps, stand-alone vital sign monitoring equipment and a code cart with monitor/defibrillator. Qualifications:
