Electronics Technician I General Info Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. - Centers for Disease Control, Atlanta, Georgia Min. Yrs. Experience: 2 Years Min. Yrs. Education: High School/GED Pay: $31.62/hour with an additional fringe benefit of $10.79/hr. ($8.04 H&W / $2.75 401k contribution) Hours: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm - Monday through Friday (8-hour shifts) *Shift Differential: 4% (2nd Shift) or 6% (3rd Shift) differential pay only if the majority of hours worked fall within the shift differential window Benefits:
Job Description: The Electronics Technician Maintenance I will apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy. Responsible for calibrating freezer Gizmos, troubleshooting Building Automation Systems (BAS) communication problems, monitoring BAS alarms and responding to problems. Must be willing to work with the other trades to troubleshoot and repair building systems such as HVAC equipment, freezers, exhaust fans and pumps. Primary responsibilities will include freezer Gizmo installation and calibration, installing new communication jacks, maintaining the freezer (Access) database, monitoring and responding to freezer alarms, building tours and monitoring the building automation systems.
