Customer Service Representative

Job Objective:


Assist with administrative support and deliver outstanding customer service. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.



What you will be doing:



  • Deal Directly with customers either by telephone or email
  • Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing, and filing
  • Process daily invoicing, and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Coordinate and communicate customer orders, questions, and requests with operations and sales teams
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Set up new customers
  • Process orders, forms, applications and requests
  • Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • Track, purchase, and manage stock of office and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Prepare correspondence and presentations
  • Prepare and coordinate mail, faxes, and express packages
  • Manage other tasks (ongoing or project) as deemed necessary by management
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Must be able to analyze situations for safety and practicability, and deal with problems involving few concrete variables in fairly standardized situations
  • Must demonstrate a professional, courteous demeanor to both customers and coworkers and keep safety in mind at all times


Qualifications



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service required
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • Candidates with exceptional typing accuracy are strongly preferred
  • Experience in the lubricants industry is a plus but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Dependable with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Customer-focused & proficient relationship builder
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to explore and learn other software applications
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
