This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.

The Position

In this position you will join a dynamic national coordinating counsel team overseeing litigation pending in the U.S. and its territories. This individual will help lead a large team of attorneys to develop litigation skills, strategies, analysis and reporting to optimize client outcomes. It does not involve handling of a caseload and does not regularly require court appearances or depositions. As a result, this position presents a unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated litigator looking to move into the "leadership" phase of his or her profession. Key Responsibilities:



  • Supervise (and support) local and national litigation teams in catastrophic and large loss matters
  • Work closely with other attorneys and client on litigation, risk management and contract compliance efforts
  • Assist in writing motions, briefs, reports on significant issues and matters
  • Interact with leading global business services client and, when requested, its customers
  • Present to client's legal and executive leadership on pending matters, mitigation strategies


Qualifications



  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Must be admitted and in good standing to practice law, state of licensure does not matter.
  • 15 years of personal injury (preferably defense) litigation experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to integrate into a fast, team-orientated environment
  • Legal project management or in-house experience is helpful
