We're seeking a Group Claims Team Leader within our Workplace Solutions division. As part of our team, you will play a key role in leading a team of a STD and/or LTD Claims Specialists by having an eye for continuous improvement and a focus to ensuring the organization is running as effectively and efficiently as possible. |

- Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $95,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- As a leader, you will oversee a team of Claim Specialists, providing training, coaching, motivation, and performance management to ensure their professional development and success.
- Monitor work progress and performance by utilizing service operational metrics and observing staff to ensure adherence to established standards for quality, quantity, and timeliness of work produced by the department.
- You will initiate, participate in and deliver departmental initiatives utilizing change management techniques and concepts.
- Serve as a knowledgeable representative of the Claims department, both within and outside the division/operation, acting as a subject matter expert. You will engage frequently with external customers and internal stakeholders, effectively addressing escalated issues on behalf of the team.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 5+ years of Group Disability Claim experience with a deep understanding of product offerings, up-to-date knowledge of industry trends with experience ensuring strict compliance with regulations set by the State Insurance Department.
- 1 year of supervisory experience with coaching, performance management
- Effective management skills, strong leadership abilities, excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and strong interpersonal relations skills.
- Proven effectiveness in managing in a fast-paced service production environment while being proactive and a willingness to support the organization where necessary.
- You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
