Pharmacy Account Manager Remote | Full Time Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. About the Role The Pharmacy Account Manager reporting to the Sr. Director, Trade & Distribution plays a key role in building and managing relationships with key pharmacy accounts that support Currax's product portfolio. This individual will lead strategic outreach and performance monitoring for independent and specialty pharmacy partners to ensure optimal product access, service delivery, and patient experience. This position is responsible for account relationship management, providing sales performance insights, and supporting contracting activities in collaboration with the trade operations and pharmacy operations team. Responsibilities * Collaborate on the design and implementation of a targeted pharmacy outreach strategy to identify and prioritize high-impact accounts that drive Currax's commercial success. * Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned pharmacy accounts, acting as the key point of contact while escalating complex issues to internal operations or leadership as appropriate. * Partner with internal teams (Pharmacy Ops, Market Access, Sales) to troubleshoot and resolve pharmacy customer issues promptly and effectively. * Conduct regular account performance reviews, including tracking sales metrics, refill/adherence trends, and fulfillment patterns to identify growth opportunities or support needs. Including ongoing monitoring and remediation of standardized service level metrics across the pharmacy network. * Provide operational logistics assistance to partner pharmacies, such as contract onboarding, process navigation, and resource delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating new pharmacy partner onboarding through structured project planning and communication. * Prepare and facilitate business reviews with key pharmacies and internal stakeholders to improve collaboration. Manage the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with pharmacy partners that are critical to business operations and provide regular reports to the Leadership Team using standard service level metrics. * Gather insights from partner accounts to support go-to-market strategies, assist in product implementation, and promote pharmacy engagement. Develop and oversee a structured process to monitor, collect intelligence, and capture feedback across the pharmacy network. * Communicate all pharmacy-related matters to the sales force and home office teams to ensure alignment and execution. Support initial sales & field training to strengthen pharmacy related knowledge across internal teams. * Must be willing to travel approximately 50-60%. Required Qualification & Skills * Bachelor's degree or equivalent. * 5-7+ years proven experience in pharmaceutical account management, pharmacy trade relations, or specialty pharmacy services. * In depth knowledge of pharmacy distribution landscape, patient access barriers, and operational workflows. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport across multiple stakeholder types. * Ability to interpret performance data to guide strategic actions at the account level. * Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient in written and oral communications/presentations. * Working knowledge in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Word platforms.
