Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of pipelines, Salt Water Disposals, Compressor Stations, Oil Offloads and other midstream assets.

  • Direct, mentor, and support field personnel to ensure safe and efficient performance of work activities.

  • Coordinate with 3rd party midstream companies to ensure offload specs and quality is met to contracted standards.

  • Oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of midstream infrastructure to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinate with engineering, EHS, and other departments to support projects, facility modifications, and operational improvements.

  • Monitor system performance and address operational issues in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for the coordination of pigging operations of gas pipelines

  • Oversee pipeline corrosion preventative program

  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including production, maintenance, and safety documentation.

  • Responsible for coding and approving invoices related to pipeline operations.

  • Manage contractor activities, ensuring adherence to company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

  • Interact and assist with all other aspects of pipeline operations including oil facilities and construction operations as needed

  • Respond to emergency situations, troubleshoot equipment failures, and lead response efforts.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example in implementing company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in midstream, pipeline, or oil & gas operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong working knowledge of midstream infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, pumps, and valves.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operating procedures.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficient in reporting, recordkeeping, and use of operational software systems.

  • Ability to work in various outdoor environments and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Field-based position with regular travel within assigned area.

  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to inspections, maintenance, and field operations.
