Position Overview: As a Facility Manager, you will be is responsible and accountable for the overall site safety and performance including the cost-effective use of facilities, equipment, labor and assets assigned to the site. The Facility Manager is responsible for the health, safety and productivity of employees. He/she is responsible in supporting the company goals, objectives and promoting the business interests of the company by conducting themselves in a professional manner while maintaining excellent customer service and good public relations. Last, the Facility Manager is responsible to manage all aspects of spent Aircraft De-icing Fluid (ADF) collection, storage, processing and distribution of ADF to airlines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Employees' work quality and productivity;
- Supports and promotes company goals and objectives, conducts him or her self in a professional manner while maintaining excellent customer service and public relations;
- Where the company has multi service operations i.e., fueling, deicing, ground services and recovery and recycling, the manager will coordinate with the cross-train staff in support of those service operations that are not part of the day to day operations;
- Thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles;
- Collaborate closely with Human Resources to establish or maintain recruitment, hiring and training strategies;
- Oversee multiple and various financial processes in an effort to ensure the site remains in great financial standing. This includes salaries, budgeting, audits and reporting;
- Participate and exchange ideas in meetings and conference calls;
- Read and have knowledge of company, customer, and regulatory manuals;
- Advance suggestions and communications with operations, technical support staff, other departments and senior management to promote continuous improvement;
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive internal and external information;
- Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits;
- Facility Manager or a representative must be on site during de-icing events to ensure that ITI system is operating at its best, safest and fullest capacity;
- Manage all aspects of spent aircraft de-icing fluid (ADF);
- Monitor all processing systems and performance;
- Delegate, realign and cross train staff to improve productivity when required;
- Develop fluid production models in support of the manufacture and distribution of glycol, including delivery to offsite operations;
- Develop and implement a Quality Control and Assurance program;
- Implement and manage a maintenance program for all equipment, maintain spare parts inventory and keep all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) updated;
- Work with ADF suppliers and airline representatives to insure adequate supply of ADF;
- Participate in airport joint operational committee meetings;
- Maintain compliance with contract obligations;
- Develop an annual budget and complete semi-annual site inventories, create invoicing, and manage payroll with the respective corporate positions;
- Ensure that Inland Group in in compliance with all government laws;
- Develop emergency plans and training requirements to handle evacuations, first response procedures and environmentally hazardous situations;
- Ensure record keeping and all required reports are clear, concise and completed on time;
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Inland staff and Inland Group customers; *Represent Inland Group in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
Required Skills and Experience:
- College degree or combination of higher learning and related professional experience;
- 5 years of Airport, Airline or similar industry operational experience with a background in local, state and federal regulatory compliance;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Maintain and treat all information as confidential;
- Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives;
- Must be able to verbally direct, read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English;
- Must be able to work with, or repair pumps and motors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The Facility Manager will lead and supervise a team of other operations professionals including the following: Administrative Assistant, Cargo Agent(s); Equipment Operator(s); Glycol Plant Specialist(s); Lead(s); Material Handler(s); Mechanic(S); Operations Supervisor(s); Quality Control; Ramp Agent(s);
- Safety and Training Coordinator(s); Security Escort(s); Site Supervisor(s); Supervisor(s); Truck Driver(s).
Work Environment:
- Work environment will be a combination of operational and office duties, with the potential of remainingseated for extended periods of time, along with the continuous use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse;
- Warehouse - physically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment;
- Outdoor - prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles;
- May be exposed to hazards inherent in airport operations, including noise, vehicles, equipment, and weather, all of which are well-managed with a high level of training, personal protective equipment, and safety procedures.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl in awkward positions;
- Must be able to lift, push pull up to 75 pounds at times.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.There may be times when work outside of the normal work schedule is required to meet the needs of customers or other operational requirements.
Travel:
- Position may require local, domestic or international travel, possibly on short notice to meet immediate business needs.
Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain and maintain all security clearances required by Transport Canada or TSA and/or local Airport; Authorities.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings.
