Location: Open, Preference for Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix Position Summary The Compliance Manager, MSHA is a high-impact leadership role supporting the Corporate Safety & Health Director in managing, improving, and championing Forgen's company-wide Safety & Health Program. With a strong emphasis on MSHA-regulated environments, this position blends regulatory expertise, risk management, and team leadership across complex environmental and heavy civil construction projects nationwide. This individual will drive compliance, mentor and lead a team of 5+ safety professionals, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risk, reduce claims, and cultivate Forgen's Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations, strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to engage with regulators and clients, and the ability to analyze hazards, assess risk, and influence across all levels of the organization. The Compliance Manager, MSHA will serve as a critical resource for field teams, project leaders, clients, and executives-ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing Forgen's reputation as a safety-first company. Physical Demands & Work Environment This office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.
