From your PASSION to ours Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Systems Developer based in Buffalo NY. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: Summary: Responsible, self-starter needed in a Dairy Plant that can support all technical aspects of the industrial plant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Ability to effectively troubleshoot all technical areas. 2.Ability to provide "on the job" training to maintenance mechanics. 3.Sets up, conducts and evaluates training (both class and practical). 4.Maintains open communication with all employees including department managers. 5.Continuously seeks new ways of improving performance and controlling costs. Works close with maintenance on variety of issues related to equipment, department maintenance and preventive maintenance programs. 6.Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes. 7.Manages plant projects. 8.Actively works on production floor facilitating the exchange of data between various departments. 9.Ability to learn new skills quickly and applies information from equipment manuals and vendor contacts. 10.Knowledge of various high and low-voltage systems. 11.Knowledge and understanding of PLC controls, programs and systems as well as operator interface systems. 12.Knowledge of variable frequency drives for motors, DC motors and drive systems. From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Qualifications: *Dairy or other food related experience preferred. *Attention to detail and accuracy in work required. *Strong communication abilities, written and verbal. Knowledge of computer software. *Ability to administrate over projects and run projects effectively. Strong ability to train employees. Education and/or Experience: *High School Diploma required. *Associate's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering Technologies preferred. Salary Description
$65,000 - $75,000
