Electrical & Embedded Systems Engineer

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking an early career Electrical Engineer for military modernization projects in the C4ISR division. The ideal candidate works well within a team, is proficient in embedded software and hardware system design, testing, and debugging, and enjoys taking their designs from concept through design, testing, and deployment. The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Division delivers mission-critical solutions, specializing in cyber operations, information architecture, strategic deterrence, and ISR. Required Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in electrical or computer engineering
• Experience with embedded system development and debugging
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Capability of programming in Matlab, Java, Python, or equivalent software
• Understanding of RF propagation and radar
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Experience bringing up electronics in a laboratory environment
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
• Must be able and willing to travel occasionally

• Embedded software programming experience
• Radar systems knowledge
• Experience automating testing of electronics
• FPGA programming experience
• Experience in high reliability design for military systems
• US Government Security Clearance

• 0-5 years of applicable experience and a BS OR
• 0-3 years of applicable experience and an MS

• 5-10 years of applicable experience and a BS OR
• 3-8 years of applicable experience and an MS OR
• 0-4 years of applicable experience and a PHD
