We are looking for an experienced Full-time Medical Records Coordinator/Central Supply Clerk to work in our 5-star healthcare facility.The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for organizing and facilitating all staffing and scheduling needs within the clinical nursing team. Responsibilities:

The Medical Records Coordinator/Central Supply Clerk is responsible for:



  • Set up rsident record prior to admission to facility.
  • Collect information to maintain accurate record on all residents.
  • Monitor and audit records for completeness and accurancy.
  • Provide information to the business office for admission requirements.
  • Organize and store medical records according to facility policy and procedure.
  • Prepare medical record for interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Responsible for providing supplies and quipment in an efficient manner for nursing services.



    Qualifications:

    Education: ART certification preferred.

    Experience: Two years experience as a medical records Coordinator in a long-term care facility.

    Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



    • Strong detail-orientation, organization and clerical skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft-PC based and other software for work processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
    • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form) clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience and uses appropriate lines of authority.
    • Must maintain regular attendance.
    • Must be able to relate positiviely and favorably to all staff in all departments.
    • Ability to deal with frequent interruptions, high level of stress and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision.
    • Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload, using time effectively to achieve expected productivity and efficiency.
    • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accomodations.
