Dynamic Ratings continues to grow and we are adding to our team! The Electronics Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for, designing, implementing, and maintaining the procedures, equipment, and tools involved in manufacturing processes, in collaboration with Development Engineering.

In this role, your primary responsibilities include:


  • Developing manufacturing production processes and procedures needed to build newly released (and existing) products.
  • Providing feedback on the design of new products in regard to the manufacturability and ability to test.
  • Developing production testing processes and procedures to achieve the needed quality levels while avoiding excessive cost impact.
  • Training staff in new and existing processes.
  • Communicating manufacturing process updates across departments through submitting ECNs, and performing Production implementation steps for ECNs from Development where necessary.
  • Resolving issues and preventing delays in production.
  • Evaluating manufacturing efficiency improvements and proposing process updates to improve the business profitability.
  • Managing contract manufacturers ensuring external build and test processes/procedures are in place to meet product requirements.
  • Ensuring that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations, as well as ESD best practices.
  • Managing the RMA process and use RMA data to identify trends and lead initiatives to improve product quality and reduce failures.
  • Periodic travel is required.



The right person for this role will be a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills. You should have experience in schematic design, Altium preferred, and experience in the PCBA manufacturing process, including testing design and maintenance and knowledge of fabrication methods and tool design.

Additionally, you should possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and have at least 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
