Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. This is a work-study opening. Work-study is a college / university program that enables part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, affording them assistance with educational expenses. You will be required to submit Financial Aid documentation confirming work study eligibility for off-campus work prior to interview Responsibilities The Epidemiology Department in the Public Health Sciences Division is seeking a highly motivated undergraduate student who is interested in gaining experience in a research environment. The candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team to implement study plans, assist in monitoring progress, and conduct daily operational work to ensure that the overall project goals of the study are met. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a future in research or medicine. This position will allow the candidate the flexibility to dedicate time to coursework. The time commitment will range from 2 to 6 hours per day and will not exceed 19 hours per week. The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $29.54 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
