Role Overview:

Seeking long-term volunteers available for a weekly 3-hour shift at our Basking Ridge Outpatient Center (136 Mountainview Blvd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920).

Volunteers will support the chemo infusion and serve as greeters in the lobby providing navigation support.

Shifts available Monday - Friday and are as follows: 9AM - 12 PM, 12 PM - 3 PM & 3 PM - 6 PM. Please indicate all shifts you are available for in your application.

Key Qualifications:

ShiftsavailableMonday -Friday and are as follows: 9AM - 12 PM, 12 PM - 3 PM & 3 PM - 6 PM.Please indicate all shifts you are available for in your application.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to patients and staff in the chemo unit: round patient rooms and provide non-clinical needs (blankets, drinks, ice, etc.).
  • Support waitingroomasa Greeter: escort patients to appointments, wheelchair retrieval and transport at entrances, round tovariousareas toassistas needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be16years old or older.
  • Willing to commit to a weekly 3-hour shift for aminimum of 6 months.Volunteers are expected to bedependablein attending their scheduled shifts.
  • If a former orcurrentMSK patient, must be out of active treatment for at least one year.

Onboarding Requirements: takes 4-6 weeks on average

  • If selected, complete a virtual interview. The selection process is based on scheduling needs and applicant qualifications.
  • Reference check: 2-3 references
  • Background check and drug screen (18 years and older)
  • Medical Clearance. COVID-19 primary series, annual flu vaccine, no exceptions.Medical clearance is at the expense of the applicant.

Ifacandidatefails tofollow up or complete the aboverequirements after30 days, the application may be rejected.

Please note that the Volunteer Department does not oversee internships, educational programs, or shadowing opportunities. Our programprovideslong-term opportunities supporting patients and staff.

Pay Range: $0.00 - $10,000,000.00 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
