We have an opening for a Manager, Commercial Sales Operations in our Monmouth Junction, NJ Facility. The Manager, Commercial Sales Operations supports and assists Commercial activities and strategy by collaborating closely with internal departments (Commercial and Non-Commercial) and external vendors to identify and execute Commercial Operations projects to drive sustained profitable sales growth for the company. The incumbent functions as a strategic and operational partner to the Commercial and Sales teams by providing proactive process improvements and operational support maximizing field force effectiveness. She/he acts as a liaison between multiple departments, facilitating communication and streamlining processes to support the marketing and sales team's performance and success. The incumbent also responsible for ensuring all Commercial activities are compliant with pharmaceutical industry regulations and documentation supporting internal controls is maintained in an accurate, compliant and timely manner. * Serves as a strategic and operational liaison and collaborates closely with the Commercial team (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Market Access, etc.) and other cross functional internal and external partners to build/maintain a strong commercial strategy, analytic priorities and a rigorous and compliant commercial measurement plan * Provides day-to-day support to the Field Sales Team, addressing operational needs and ensuring resource availability; Assists Sales Training department with sales new hire onboarding activities; Manages/maintains rosters and assist Sales Training with new hire training and meeting logistics * Responsible for organizing and coordinating Commercial team events, as needed; Collaborating closely with Commercial and Sales leadership and administration to ensure all logistical details are managed effectively * Oversees company's vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient, safe and cost-effective operations including, but not limited to: managing vehicle maintenance, driver performance, fuel consumption, compliance with regulations, etc.; Supports vehicle acquisition, allocation and disposal; Develops and implements fleet management policies/procedures and fleet safety modules, as needed * Collaborates closely with Analytics team to support Sales management with CRM system and other sales-related technologies, including report management * Collaborates closely with Marketing and Sale Training teams to obtain materials that need to be submitted for review and create an agenda for each meeting; Supports Marketing team in managing inventory and logistics of marketing material * Collaborates closely with Compliance team to ensure all sales operations activities comply with Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) Code and corporate policies; Properly maintains documentation to support audits and internal controls * Accurately and compliantly reviews and submits contracts through Legal review process to ensure all projects' contracts are reviewed/approved by Legal department prior to execution; Confirms all Purchase Orders (POs) are in place prior to work commencing and tracks budget and payments according to contract terms * Collaborates with Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) teams to ensure proper and compliant use of approved promotional materials * Responsible for creating and maintaining budget for Commercial team Requirements KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED * Bachelors degree and minimum 6 years experience in a commercial and/or sales operations or related role(s) in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research organization (CRO) or related industry. * Hands on knowledge and experience in multiple aspects of commercial and sales operations and analytics including, but not limited to: field-based team strategy/performance/data analytics, sales force deployment, sales incentive compensation (IC) operations, sales force alignment, customer targeting/segmentation, call planning, etc. * Strong CRM and sales automation understanding with experience using tools to drive sales performance * Experience in business analytics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards * Strong working knowledge of third-party syndicated data sources (i.e., Symphony Health, IQVIA, Wolters Kluwer, SDI Health, etc.) and ability to synthesize complex scientific and business data into clear, actionable insights * Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations Work Arrangements: We are a HYBRID work environment requiring local candidates to be able to work majority of week in our NJ office. Anticipated salary range: $ 140 to $ 165/yr. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate's education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
