Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the planning, management, and execution of our marketing and communications activities both for our internal and external audiences. This person will work within IBTS' Business Analytics and Marketing (BAM) team. The Marketing Coordinator will have direct responsibility for all marketing efforts including Brand strategy, messaging, communications, media, public facing promotions, conference and trade show coordination, collateral material design and production, association collaboration, and internal corporate communications. This energetic, strategic and detail-oriented person will support our Business-to-Government (B2G) market and initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of government procurement and public sector engagement, and is passionate about crafting targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with federal, state, and local agencies. Campaign Development, Execution and Reporting
Develop marketing programs and projects that drive brand awareness, interest, and recognition of IBTS as a thought leader among clients, prospects, and partners. While setting goals, objectives, key performance indicators, budgets, strategies, approaches, and timelines for these efforts. Track and report on all related metrics and analysis of outcomes.
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns tailored to federal, state, and local government audiences. As well as the private sector who support government agencies.
Content Creation & Management
- Works with our in-house and outside subject matter experts to identify topics and concepts to develop compelling content including brochures, white papers, case studies, and presentations that align with government needs and compliance standards.
- Design, write, and update collateral, website content, and other marketing material for B2G/B2B audiences.
- Create and manage social media content aligned with business strategy. Produce event-related content such as blogs, podcasts, presentations, and video content.
Event & Trade Show Coordination
- Oversee IBTS event planning including conventions, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and speaking engagements. Manage the scheduling, pre and post event engagement strategies, as well as the logistics and coordination of each event.
- Works with in-house and outsources subject matter experts to identify topics and concepts for speaking engagements and publication that align with IBTS marketing priorities and business development efforts.
CRM & Lead Management
- Support and help maintain accurate records of government contacts and leads in our CRM systems along with others, specifically around inbound leads, social posts, conference lists, and public solicitations.
- Track promotional campaign performance and generate reports to inform effectiveness and our return on investment. Help shape marketing campaigns and strategies to maximize return.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with IBTS leadership (Executives, Directors, Business Development, Human Resources, and Subject Matter Experts) to understand their needs, objectives, and priorities.
- Possess a deep understanding of the organizational goals and strategy to align efforts with the most relevant service offerings, geographies, and market segments.
- Provide BAM resources and support in the Capture, Bid and Proposal process with content creation and graphics as needed.
- Provide miscellaneous support to various Divisions and coworkers on projects, initiatives, and pursuits including meeting facilitation, research, writing, and editing.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication Design, Advertising & Graphic Design, Digital Media Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), Media Arts & Design, Communication Studies with Marketing, and broadcasting concentration or similar.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in the built environment (architecture, engineering, construction) for federal, state, and local programs.
- 2+ years managing marketing campaigns and/or creative agency engagements.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with exposure to B2G contracting.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
Key Skills/Competencies for this position
- Strong understanding of the built environment, federal programs, state, and local government, including relevant terminology and processes.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate on a variety of topics to different audiences, including clients, partners, company leadership and staff.
- Knowledge of branding, messaging, and promotional strategies for the public sector market.
- Advanced writing skills: demonstrated ability to understand technical subjects and communicate value to non-technical audiences. Ability to write for B2G/B2B and professional services audiences.
- Plan, manage, and optimize SEO strategies as well as Google, LinkedIn, and Meta ads campaigns. Use Google Analytics (GA4) to track performance, report on key metrics, and provide insights that inform future strategies and initiatives.
- Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, Duda, and others.)
- Stay current with emerging AI marketing tools to boost efficiency and creativity in campaigns.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision.

- Physical ability to operate in a traditional office setting with relevant equipment and coworker interaction.
- This is a hybrid position that requires an appropriate at-home work environment.
