NJ DOE elementary education endorsement required. Knowledge of AVT techniques and sign language communication preferred. Background working with hearing impaired students preferred. COMPENSATION RATE/RANGE: $73,690 - $111,682 TEACHER ASSISTANTS (MULTIPLE VACANCIES) High School diploma. Effective written and oral expression. Demonstrated ability to work with or experience working with children with disabilities. Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting . Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance. Experienced computer/clerical skills highly preferred. Willing and able to complete Crisis Management training.
