Puget Sound Energy's Electric Distribution System Operations is looking for an Engineer II to join our team. Our System Operations Team is responsible for the real-time monitoring and control of PSE's electric distribution system. We are a team of skilled professionals who perform a critical role in safely and reliably operating the electrical grid. The Engineers support real-time operations by solving complex emergent and planned issues on the distribution system, and are part of the project teams that bring the latest grid-management technology into the control center. The Engineer II upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities, as well promotes and supports a culture of total safety. The individual in this role demonstrates a commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct, and ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. This job is considered "safety sensitive" as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.
