Join IMEG as a Landscape Architecture New Grad in Woodbury, NY, and help create outdoor spaces that are both functional and inspiring. From public parks and campus landscapes to urban plazas and mixed-use developments, you'll contribute to designs that enhance communities while promoting environmental stewardship. You'll collaborate with experienced landscape architects, landscape designers, planners, and engineers to develop concepts, illustratives, planting plans, and technical drawings-transforming ideas into built environments. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience - with mentorship, training, and opportunities to enhance your expertise and grow your career.

Principal Responsibilities

* Assist in preparing exhibits, presentation graphics, renderings, and landscape/planting/tree preservation plans

* Support research, calculations, and data entry for plans and reports

* Contribute to concept and schematic landscape designs

* Assist with site visits, tree assessments, and preparation of landscape sheets for entitlement packages and site plans

Required Qualifications and Skills

* Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent required

* Prior internship experience in land development preferred

* Skilled in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp

* Good graphic skills, and good written and verbal communication skills

* Regional plant knowledge for application in both planting design and field identification

* Good organization and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges

* Proficiency with Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

* Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays

Salary Range $69,000 - $71,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
