SHIFT: Any (United States of America)Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine Children's Hospital of Philadelphia The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania are accepting candidates for the position of Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology. We are looking for an inspirational and innovative leader, board-certified in pediatric anesthesiology, to lead one of the highest-profile premier academic pediatric cardiac anesthesiology divisions. The successful candidate will transform the division to pursuit of achieving CHOP's mission of excellence in clinical care, education, research, and advocacy. Division Overview: The Division of Cardiac Anesthesiology is in a phase of dynamic growth and expansion and currently includes:
Clinical Operations: The Division Chief oversees the clinical activities of the Division and coordinates with leaders across the enterprise to optimize clinical operations. The Division supports numerous clinical programs, delivering over 3,100 anesthetics annually to children with congenital and acquired heart disease in the cardiac ORs, catheterization labs, and non-OR locations such as MRI. Research and Scholarship: The Division of Cardiac Anesthesiology is actively engaged in clinical and translational research. Highlights include participation in multi-center trials, a collaboration on venous waveform analysis, and an Innovation Award for the CHD Panorama data integration project. Additionally, the Jolley Lab continues to advance 3D imaging and modeling of heart defects, while the Lynch Lab develops optical neuromonitoring tools. The division publishes extensively and regularly presents at national conferences. The Division Chief will play a pivotal role in advancing the Division's research and academic missions. SALARY RANGE: $100,000.00 - $1,050,000.00 AnnuallySalary ranges are shown for full-time jobs.
