Position Title: Mixer Operator
Wage: $20.00 - $21.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 5:30am/6:00am - 1:30pm, 1:30pm/2:00pm - 9:30pm or 9:00pm - 5:00am Are you ready for a new opportunity with a supportive team in Lodi, WI? Mixer Operator Responsibilities: - Operate equipment in assigned area to include bagging, batching, mixing and liquid systems - Complete daily assigned housekeeping duties per standard format and document that activities have been completed on daily and weekly check sheets. Respond to any issues identified on weekly audits that are in operator control. - Communicate shortages of raw materials promptly to production supervisor - Maintain raw material and ingredient inventory at appropriate stock levels in area of responsibility - Maintain annual safety training completion to 100% on a month-to-month basis - Knowledge of and observe Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations - Report required equipment maintenance to supervisor and safely assist in repair as requested Requirements for Mixer Operator: - High School Diploma - Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in food production, with longevity in prior work history - Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic mathematical calculations - Ability to adhere to the shift schedule and communicate any absences in advance to direct supervisor - Ability to learn and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements imposed on manufacturing facilities by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) - Ability to work as an effective team member within the operations department and company - Willingness to work overtime (50% of shift scheduled) as business requires madison@qpsemployment.com IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
