If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team. KPMG is currently seeking a Security Officer to join our Lakehouse Campus Security organization. Responsibilities: Maintain a visible and professional presence while on post and patrol and engage with guests and employees while maintaining a high amount of knowledge about the property's offerings and services; seek to delight guests while maintaining the fundamental focus of the security department Preserve confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets; support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect and help the team to reach common goals; comply with Firm standards and expectations Patrol guest room floors, secure rooms, and assist guests with room access; conduct daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations and maintain integrity of the key control process Handle all issues and complaints in a professional and composed manner and assist guests/employees during emergency situations; respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required, gather information and complete reports Operate property motor vehicles on and off campus; enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees; maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises Qualifications: Minimum one year of recent experience in security guard force in the hospitality industry Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; High school diploma required; current CPR/First Aid/AED Certifications are preferred Proficiency in the use of current business applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related security applications Strong communication skills and ability to exercise good judgment and maintain a professional demeanor Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period; may require flexibility to work on any shift as business needs dictate Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa) KPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries ("KPMG") complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
