With 388 beds it is the second largest of Duke Health's four hospitals and offers a comprehensive range ofmedical, surgical, and diagnostic services, including orthopedics, weight-loss surgery, women's services, and heart and vascular services. Job Location Duke Behavioral Health North Durham (Outpatient facility on DRH Campus located at 3643 N. Roxboro Rd, Durham, NC 27704) Job Summary Provide medication management to Duke employees in an outpatient setting. Completes diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients, orders and schedules appropriate laboratory studies and works within a multi-disciplinary environment. Preferred experience includes working with employees and the ability to understand the complexities of working in a healthcare and/or academic environment. The ideal candidate would understand the necessary extra measures to ensure that this care is done in a confidential and private manner. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Job Eligibility Requirements Education Graduate of accredited MSN or DNP Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. (Note: PAs are not being considered for this position.)
Certification PMHNP required
License Current unrestricted RN License issued by or recognized by the NCBON with authorization to practice as NP
