What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking a Bridge Project Manager with a PennDOT focus as well as City of Philadelphia, Septa and/or Amtrak experience to join our Pennsylvania Transportation Team. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our downtown Philadelphia office. Working on the roadway team at GFT offers the opportunity to engage in transformative projects that enhance transportation infrastructure and improve community connectivity. Whether working on highways and bridges or traffic engineering, our team excels in resilient, sustainable design and construction, delivering innovative solutions that address the complexities of modern, multimodal roadway systems and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable travel for all . What you'll be challenged to do: As an experienced Bridge Project Manager, you will provide mentorship, project management, strong client-facing skills and the ability to communicate and work across multiple operational groups and technical disciplines. Our goal is to continue to expand our bridge group and this role is pivotal to achieving this objective. Successful candidates will deliver best in class technical solutions to our clients on the design, delivery and management of projects across both public and private sectors. A successful candidate will possess demonstrated experience in the analysis, detailed plan preparation of steel and concrete bridges, retaining wall design, as well as have an understanding of special provisions, scheduling, highway, geotechnical, right-of-way and the environmental process. Position requires effective time management, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate will be articulate with a professional presence and solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills. Responsibility for managing/overseeing scopes, schedules and budgets for projects and daily successful operation of all aspects of project delivery including customer interface. Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $155,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
