We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our Manufacturing Test Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, development, and production of innovative manufacturing test systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic devices, mechanical devices, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What you'll be doing: * Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into manufacturing test processes. * Assemble and integrate various components of automated test systems, including hardware, software, and instrumentation. * Build and support validation of test manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. * Operate and maintain test manufacturing equipment, making necessary adjustments to optimize production efficiency and quality. * Participate in the improvement of test manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to enhance productivity and reduce costs. * Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the testing process. * Conduct preventive maintenance activities on manufacturing test process and document work per required quality procedures * Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, equipment settings, and production data. * Execute test system validation protocols to ensure test system accuracy, reliability and consistency of results. * Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. What you'll bring * Associate degree or 3+ years of experience in a related field. (e.g., Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, etc.). * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry. * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations. * Experience in using electronic test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as hand tools, soldering and assembly equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Experience in using software, such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or other test automation tools is preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing. * Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement, including the ability to accurately read and interpret technical documentation, such as schematics and test procedures. * Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods. |
