Power Platform Solution Architect (Norfolk, VA) - Clearance Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a Power Platform Solution Architect to lead the migration of enterprise applications from Oracle/Java to Microsoft Power Platform and Azure. This individual will own the overall technical vision, architecture, and governance strategy for the migration, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• Define and oversee the technical architecture for Power Platform, including Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Lead the re-platforming of legacy Oracle/Java applications into modern Power Apps solutions.
• Develop environment strategy, governance model, and security framework (Azure AD integration, RBAC, compliance).
• Partner with data engineers on designing data models across Dataverse, Azure SQL, Synapse, and Data Lake.
• Act as the primary liaison between business SMEs, legacy developers, and Power Platform team.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to development staff.

Here's what you need:

• 8+ years in enterprise application development/architecture.
• 4+ years of hands-on Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, Functions, Logic Apps).
• Demonstrated success in migrating legacy systems to Power Platform or Azure cloud.
• Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, DoD RMF a plus).

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid/mostly remote with the ability to attend meetings in Norfolk during business hours with little notice.
