Moog Space Sector has an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager for our Huntsville Regional Support Center.

The Huntsville Regional Support Center (HRSC) is a shared resource center for all of Moog, centered in a hot bed of aerospace & defense, it serves as a gateway for internal and external resources to access the larger company within an agile site. The Site Manager is directly responsible for and oversees the definition, implementation, organization and management of the daily operations and strategic direction of the HRSC. This role involves full-time senior leadership of a small, multi-disciplined, matrixed team supporting Space and Defense Group.

These responsibilities fall within 4 separate management/oversight categories: Site Operations & Financial Accountability, Business Development/Networks and Human Resources/Personnel and HRSC Growth.

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Development of and accountability for the annual operational budget forecast, plan execution, and support of onsite personnel to ensure general performance satisfaction by all Moog Operating Group business interests.

  • Management of new business proposals originating from the HRSC .

  • Oversight of day-to-day facility operations for the HRSC to include supervision of administrative support.

  • Establish, manage and assure compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations as well as corporate safety, health and environmental requirements.

  • Establish, manage and assure compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations as well as corporate sustainability and ESG requirements.

  • Provide tactful and effective influence (when appropriate) on indirect reporting relationships as day-to-day interface for functional organizations regarding staff performance or issues with individual team members.

  • Create and manage a positive work environment for employees to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

  • Emulate Moog Leadership principles and values and conduct herself/himself with the highest integrity.

  • Facilitate local and regional recruiting to attract talent to support various group business needs.

  • Promote growth and retention of employee expertise for the HRSC in the highly competitive Tennessee Valley, North Alabama region.

  • Facilitate timely resolution of outstanding issues through effective day-to-day communications with customers, management and functional organizations

  • Generate political capital with local, state and federal Senior government officials and industry leadership through participation in community sponsored events.

  • Develop/update & review HRSC strategy routinely with measurable metrics to support various Moog business unit programs strategies regionally.

  • Promote local implementation of Group/Division/BU-level strategic initiatives.

  • Lead, sustain and expand the Moog's book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns originating at the HRSC

Here's what you need to bring with you:

  • Business Degree.

  • 3 years as a Program Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Manager or Operations Manager

  • Experience in a front-end role with customer interaction and proven ability to drive opportunities to conclusion

  • Ability to access US export-controlled information (ITAR).

  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Salary Range Transparency:

Huntsville, AL $100,000.00-$155,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
