Reclaim Driver - Bloomfield, IA

Drives gasoline or diesel-powered truck to transport and deliver rendering products; i.e., deceased livestock, or materials in liquid or loose form by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drives dead haul truck to destination
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition
• Load and unloads deal haul truck with and without assistance
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
• Other duties may require hauling market loads to the plant

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply basic mathematical principals to practical situations.
• Must regularly lift and/or more up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently works in outside weather conditions and near moving mechanical parts
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a Class D endorsement and acceptable MVR
