  • The Material Handler will have organizational and problem-solving skills and able to organize large quantities of data, researching new initiatives, and coordinating long-term strategies is a plus.

  • Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

  • Lifts heavy items and operate a pallet jack.

  • Perform production support duties for Operations and ensure quality of work performed.

  • Perform Environmental Monitoring for production areas.

  • Monitor and oversee lab supply inventory, input production data and other work-output data into appropriate network (e.g. SAP / LIMS) and maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures.

  • Interface with internal groups to assure laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration and documents conform to established practices.

  • Manages schedules, workload and establishes priorities using inputs from business requirements, SAP, and/or internal customer needs

The opportunity:

Responsibilities:

  • Follows established Corporate and regulatory safety and security procedures, which includes the handling of hazardous materials.

  • Maintains a safe and clean area in accordance with GMP guidelines and OSHA regulations.

  • Receiving - Receives, inspects and prioritizes distribution of goods, materials, supplies and/or products, ensuring accurate quantities and completing records.

  • Transporting/Delivery - Transports materials (Kegs). Transfers materials to and from storage area. Delivers packages and goods to appropriate department or individual.

  • Prepare empty kegs for Shipping

  • Must be able to work overtime when required.

  • High school diploma or GED, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work related experience required

  • Less than one year of warehousing and/or distribution experience. Handling the receipt, storage and/or disbursement/delivery of goods and materials.

  • Experience handling hazardous materials preferred.

Software skills:

  • Uses SAP to print product labels, issue goods, and track inventory and perform EM. Maintains required logbooks and records.

  • Be able knowledgeable with Software programs such as SAP, excel and other Microsoft programs.

Who you are:

Formal Training/Education

Required:

  • High School diploma, or GED, or related field, or equivalent combination or education and work related experience.

Experience

Required:

  • Warehousing and/or distribution experience required.

  • Experience handling the receipt, storage and/or disbursement/delivery of goods and materials required.

Preferred:

  • Have computer-based skills, excel, SAP and others.

Pay transparency

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Branchburg is 36,500.00 - 67,700.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
