Job Description

The Business Engagement team within the Information Technology Department drives alignment between Business & IT areas, utilizing technology to strengthen partnerships while streamlining processes for desirable and viable solutions that meet the functional needs of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an IT liaison to the Business - Primary Contact Point
  • Promote clear communication and develop relationships with all relevant stakeholders
  • Communicates with business stakeholders to identify new opportunities, enhancements to existing tools and services
  • Strive to anticipate additional needs and opportunities
  • Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the impacted area(s) and stakeholder groups to define, clarify, and document functional / non-functional requirements to support development activities
  • Ensure business requirements are met through design, quality assurance, and implementation
  • Manage the product backlog for Functional Business Domain(s)
  • Partner with Architecture on third-party application evaluations by vetting requests and evaluating products/vendors
  • Identify pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements with the business
  • Knows how to gain trust and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • Exhibit active listening, facilitate sessions, and clearly communicate at all levels

Education:

Bachelor's degree, advanced degree, or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
