Intern Project Engineer

At Exyte, we are seeking a motivated Project Engineer Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction project management, working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineers to support the successful delivery of high-tech facilities.

As a Project Engineer Intern, you will:
* Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and tracking logs.
* Support project meetings by scheduling, taking detailed minutes, and distributing documentation.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure contract documents, drawings, and specifications are accurately managed.
* Participate in project close-out activities, including turnover packages, as-builts, and warranty documentation.
* Assist with procurement processes such as bid packages, purchasing, and expediting materials.
* Gain exposure to cost, schedule, and change management processes.
* Support weekly reporting and contribute to project tracking and documentation.
* Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, building professional communication skills.
* Uphold safety and compliance standards, contributing to Exyte's Incident Free Workplace (IFW) culture.
* Take on additional tasks as needed to support project success.

What You Bring to the Table
* Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong interest in construction project management and technical execution.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and commitment to teamwork.
