What You'll Bring:

  • 8-10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles.
  • Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
  • Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Helm) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong grasp of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years Production deployment and Design experience.
  • Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux).
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

Impact You'll Make:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Architect with 8-10 years of experience to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native infrastructure. This role will focus on AWS cloud services, Kubernetes orchestration, and modern DevOps practices, enabling high-performance development and deployment workflows across teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS or GCP Cloud.
  • Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications at large scale, 10s of thousands of TPS and 99.999% reliability.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment.
  • Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across cloud and container environments.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to continuously improve DevOps capabilities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of automation, reliability, and scalability.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $112,500.00 - $187,500 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
