Within Seagate's Global Marketing Organization, The Mission of Retail/Etail Team is to maximize revenue and profitability through the Etail/Retail route-to-market by meeting customers where they shop and delivering a best-in-class brand and buying experience, both online and in-store. This senior Retail/E-tail Analytics role is instrumental in shaping the data infrastructure that supports the organization's long-term analytical needs. The position partners with global and regional Retail/E-tail stakeholders to design and implement reporting dashboards that monitor key metrics and performance trends. It delivers actionable insights to marketing leadership and collaborates with cross-functional business partners-including Marketing, Finance, Pricing, and Sales-to develop strategic solutions that drive business growth.
About the role - you will:
* Analyze retail performance across stores, products, and regions using advanced analytics tools * Forecast future sales and demand trends using predictive models * Recommend actionable strategies based on data insights to enhance store profitability and efficiency * Evaluate promotions and measure ROI of marketing initiatives; provide tactic recommendations based on performance metrics * Optimize pricing, Marketing Funds allocation, and contractual spend efficiency through predictive modeling * Monitor and report on KPIs such as sales revenue, conversion, inventory, ROI; Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations that empower executives to make agile, informed decisions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, develop forecasts, and guide strategy using insights from sales, inventory, customer behavior, and operational data
About you:
* Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving to translate complex data into actionable business insights * Effective communication and data storytelling skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making * Adaptability, ownership, and business acumen to drive strategies in a fast-changing retail environment
Your experience includes:
* Experience in customer-based data analytics * Expertise with SQL / PLSQL skills, experience writing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures using SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, R, Python, STATA, SAS, etc * Strong visualization and data storytelling skills and creating reports/dashboards using Tableau + Tableau server or similar BI tool * Ability to detect and debug anomalies in complex data processes * Ability to prepare technical requirements and lead developers to develop data solution and dashboards * Scripting language & automation tools (Python) * Knowledge of digital marketing Channels
