The IT Business Analyst is an exempt, intermediate-level individual contributor responsible for managing the financial data that connects products, projects, and procurement. This position ensures that spend is tracked, invoices are processed, time and budgets are accurately allocated, and all financials are tied back to business outcomes. This role provides clear visibility into costs and value delivery, helping leadership understand how IT investments contribute to measurable results. This position will be based out of the Gainesville, Georgia headquarters and will report directly to the Director of Procurement. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Technology Investment Support:
- Manage and process 300+ IT invoices each month, ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
- Track spend and purchases, making sure all financial activity is properly tied to initiatives.
- Partner with Accounts Payable & Finance to reconcile costs against budgets and maintain precise CapEx/OpEx allocations.
Resource and Process Management:
- Administer the Resource Manager system, ensuring accurate time entry across teams.
- Provide monthly reporting to Accounts Payable for allocation of labor to capital or expense.
- Support capacity planning by aligning labor reporting with project and budget requirements.
- Identify and recommend process improvements, including use of process automation, that can reduce manual effort and increase transparency.
Performance Reporting and Insights:
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to show spend, usage, and financial alignment.
- Deliver actionable insights and narratives to IT and business leadership by analyzing projects and process improvements, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Highlight trends and opportunities for process optimization across procurement, resource use, and financial reporting.
- Maintain visibility into IT financials, highlighting where investments are driving value.
- Support development of cost models for I.T. projects across the organization.
Strategic Contribution:
- Provide insights into how project outcomes, procurement activity, and financial reporting all work together to create transparency.
- Contribute to frameworks that measure value realization and business impact.
- Help leadership see clearly how IT investments connect to business priorities and results.
- Assist in the design and implementation of IT systems or enhancements.
Requirements: Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Business, Data Analytics or similar degree program.
Knowledge & Experience:
- 3 or more years of direct experience as either Business Analyst or working in an I.T. Business Analytics based role within a similar sized, or larger, organization.
- Knowledge of I.T. governance, business value frameworks or performance measurements (e.g. KPI's or OKR's).
- Proficiency in SmartSheet or equivalent project management software.
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365 platforms with an emphasis on Excel and PowerBI.
- Proficiency with databases such as SQL, relational databases, and potentially cloud or real-time databases.

Work Environment & Travel:
- 40-hour work week with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, business conditions permitting Eligibility for the hybrid work week begins after completion of the ninety-day introductory period of employment where all training will occur onsite.
- This position may have planned, overnight travel to other site locations within the Company that could include travel on weekends and Holidays.
- Must be available to work flexible hours as needed including evenings & weekends as needed
