Job Description

We are looking for a Process Excellence Manager - Technology to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing and optimizing cross-functional processes and workflows while identifying opportunities for automation, standardization and digital solutions, including AI, across the enterprise. You will work cross-functionally to uncover inefficiencies, drive automation, ensure data integrity, and support compliance. You will identify use cases to apply AI and digital tools to solve business problems and build scalable solutions for continuous improvement across the company. You will also support technology audits and data certification initiatives.

As a Process Excellence Manager - Technology, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Business Process Optimization Across Functions

  • Build and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap aligned to strategic business goals.
  • Evaluate and redesign and map processes in customer service, billing, sales, field operations, finance, HR, and IT.
  • Drive automation, digitization, and workflow orchestration for efficiency, cost reduction, and improved experience.
  • Partner with department heads to identify pain points and high-impact opportunities for process transformation and tailored technology solutions.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and digital enablement.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in operational excellence.

Data Certification & Quality Management

  • Perform quality testing on key operational and enterprise data such as usage metrics, financials, customer records, and HR data.
  • Certify data used in dashboards, reports, and decision-making to ensure completeness and consistency.

Internal Control & SOX Oversight

  • Manage SOX testing and control evaluations across business functions for IT general and application controls.
  • Review control design and effectiveness across systems and processes.
  • Lead remediation and documentation efforts for audit findings.

Enterprise Data Governance

  • Promote policies for data ownership, classification, retention, and usage.
  • Partner with data stewards and owners across departments to improve governance maturity.
Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Accounting or related field
  • 7+ years in business process improvement/engineering, operations or transformation roles
  • 3+ years in managerial or team leadership role
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex process improvement projects
  • Strong skills in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills
  • IT audit, Compliance, or Technology experience
  • Data certification experience
  • Experience with various technologies, including networks, platforms, and applications.
  • Ability to cultivate channels of communication (both written and verbal) to effectively influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business processes, financial reporting and information technology audit and control frameworks such as SOX, COSO, COBIT, NIST, and OWASP
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and system integration controls.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and familiarity with tools and techniques used to provide control and monitoring mechanisms.

  • Experience in telecom
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DataPlex experience
